Celebrating the world of trees and nature in hymns and praise, yesterday's (11 February 2018) BBC's Songs of Praise was filmed at Lincoln Cathedral and the Cathedral Copse. The copse was planted in the Autumn with oak saplings from British Hardwood Tree Nursery.

Our British Hardwood Tree Nursery family took part - young and old - at yesterday's (Sunday 26 November 2017) Cathedral Planting at Ashing Lane Nature Reserve in Dunholme. It takes over 100 years for an oak tree to grow to the maturity needed to create timber for Lincoln Cathedral roof so we were more than happy to start this ball rolling, supporting the Nettleham Woodland Trust with the donation of oak saplings for the establishment of the Cathedral Copse.
Creating an appropriate setting reflective of its history, the establishment and continuing health of woodland planting at Grangewood Hall, Derbyshire owes its success to three elements. The three? A credit to its forestry management, the supply of healthy UK provenance young plants and the appropriate Tubex plant protection - the former provided by Cameron Forest and Garden and the latter by BHT.
