Company History and Development
BHT has grown considerably since its infancy. Andrew Henderson has been managing director since 1998, following on from his late father, John, who established the business in Lincolnshire with his wife Susan in 1989, after settling back in the UK from some time spent in South Africa. With land initially rented and planted for BHT’s own production, the company subsequently invested in land to enable them to develop their infrastructure and premises to service a nationwide customer base.
Now employing 15 staff, we continue to develop by building and supporting strong relationships with local, regional and national forestry, farming and landscaping customers where our focus remains the delivery of the most comprehensive and relevant product range.
Supplying UK-grown stock, contract grown from select UK growers and with UK seed provenance where available, the company is committed to supporting customer networks including nationwide buying groups, conservation charities and government organisations.
