Plant Healthy Certified

We are delighted to announce British Hardwood Tree Nursery are now Plant Healthy certified.

What is the Plant Healthy scheme?

Plant Healthy aims to help people and businesses grow and supply healthy plants, because it is recognised that the most common way for pests to be introduced into a new area is by the movement of live plants.

To ensure high standards are maintained, the scheme is based around the 'Plant Health Management Standard'. This is a document that has been developed by industry, with input from Government and third sector organisations. It sets out key requirements for plant health management and is the technical document that the Plant Healthy Certification Scheme is based upon.
