01673 818443Countryside Stewardship helps rural businesses improve the environment. If you are a rural business and wish to make use of the funding available, now is the time to prepare your application. The 2015 support will be prioritised to cover:
- The creation and maintenance of new woodlands for biodiversity and water benefits, including flooding;
- Woodland management plans and
- Tree health
To apply for these capital grants, you must first register on the new Rural Payments system. Thereafter, you can download an application form directly from the Forestry Commission website. Notification of the start of applications was made on 17 February 2015.
