Meeting increased demand in tree protection
We are at the very centre of the UK's plant supply and tree protection business in more ways than one. Nestled in the heart of rural England in the Lincolnshire countryside, British Hardwood Tree Nursery (BHT) are well-prepared and well-positioned for the forthcoming bare root season - and are ready to expand yet further.
New warehouse in 2016 - More storage added 2017
BHT are already benefiting from recent site investment in 2016, increasing capacity for plant protection and planting accessories with a new warehouse and extra mezzanine level. Riding on the success of this expansion, the company have now committed to a further mezzanine level in another warehouse.
In total, this means capacity will now span across five warehouses. The new mezzanine floor in one warehouse will add to the other mezzanine added last year. This means covered storage capacity will soon be over 21,000 square feet.
It's a good job - the latest deliveries of Tubex plant protection, shelters, stakes, ties and planting accessories are all stacked and ready for the bare root season.
Increased efficiency
A major player in the UK forestry, farming, estate and landscaping sectors, BHT have also improved site access with a new commercial entrance. This improves delivery flow, speeds up stock management and generally affords greater efficiencies on site in their busiest periods.
