BHT can only operate to its continually high standards with the hard work and professionalism of its close-knit and enthusiastic team. Two of our BHT team have reached their 10 year service milestones this season - so we're saying THANK YOU to Richard Furness and Keiron Proctor.

BHT team members reach 10 year service milestone

Season after season, the rigours of high order levels and a crescendo of activity from November to March call for service beyond the call of duty - both in the office and out in the elements, managing the nursery and despatching orders. We have been celebrating with two of the team who have helped form the backbone of the business for over 20 years between them.

10 Years: Richard Furness - Our Online, Marketing & Purchasing Specialist

Representing the digital face of BHT for over 10 years, Richard is our in-house marketing expert. He is responsible for the seamless management of online orders, their administration and fulfilment and has been working tirelessly over the last year on the brand new website at www.britishhardwood.co.uk as well as our retail site at www.treesandhedging.co.uk. And all this whilst playing a pivotal role across purchasing, marketing and communications functions, too.

Andrew and Zoe congratulated Richard and thanked him for his dedication and perfectionism - two traits that go a very long way in a small business with a big presence in the supply of bare root trees, hedging and accessories to the UK farming, forestry and landscaping marketplaces.

10 Years: Keiron Proctor - Our Nursery Foreman

Keiron is the linchpin on the nursery and has been now for over a decade. His role is to manage the external nursery team and oversee the safe and swift expedition of bare root trees, hedging plants and accessories from the company's headquarters in Snitterby, Lincolnshire. Keiron brings his own personality and professionalism to a role that calls for roll-your-sleeves-up hard work, accuracy and care when handling plants, picking, preparing, packing and despatching orders, ready for delivery across the UK.

Andrew and Zoe commended Keiron on the 10-year milestone and thank him for his ongoing commitment to maintaining British Hardwood Tree Nursery's reputation as the UK expert for the wholesale supply of trees and hedging to urban and rural planting projects.
