Description

Climatic mesh tree guards are a double mesh protector, ideal for young plants. They have a thick diamond mesh structure to ensure rigidity and resistance to tearing, whilst a finer mesh offers the benefit of creating a microclimate for the plant, with the guards also offering protection from browsing animals.

Our range of Climatic mesh tree guards are available in three heights; 60cm to protect against rabbit, 75cm to protect against hare and 1.20m to protect from Roe deer & Muntjac. All have a diameter of 140mm. We offer all sizes in black, with the 1.20m option also available in green. The guards are packaged flat for improved logistics. All Climatic guards are manufactured from polypropylene.

The Climatic guards can be installed using bamboo canes (we recommend using two canes per guard) and staples, or with a square sawn tree stake and cable ties. It is advisable to turn the upper end of the sheath to avoid friction between the plant and the edges of the sheath, which can be abrasive.
