We are currently seeking to recruit an individual for the following role:

Haulage & Reception - Job share

Haulage - key responsibilities:

  • Daily online booking of several different hauliers
  • Daily checking of haulier deliveries achieved
  • Supporting Warehouse Team for daily labelling of consignments
  • Tracking and management of all delivery costings
  • Timely filing of paperwork
  • Process online sales order despatching through Magento

Reception - key responsibilities:

  • Managing the telephone switchboard; answer calls professionally and diverting appropriately
  • Processing customer collections, including taking of payments
  • General office duties including housekeeping and stationery management
  • Maintain efficient use of ACT Contact Management System
  • Maintain efficient use of Microsoft Outlook for email, daily tasks and forward planning
  • Process online sales order despatching through Magento

Both functions within this role require suitable candidates to:

  • Provide back up support to the rest of secretarial team when required
  • Comply with established company processes to ensure the smooth running of the business
  • Make themselves available for any other duties consistent with the main purpose of the job as may be defined from time to time

Working relationships

This job share will be expected to liaise closely and professionally with all other members of staff, both internally and externally, in order to efficiently fulfil the main purpose of this role.
