COVID-19 - Important Information

Last updated: 15th September 2020

We have reviewed our collection process to establish the safest way to facilitate customer collections from our premises during COVID-19. We are pleased to allow customer collections again and, as such, this option has been reactivated as part of the checkout process.

For collections, a member of our team will outline the COVID secure process when liaising with customers to organise a suitable collection date.

Previous update: 30th March 2020

Everyone's safety is our number one priority. In addition to the restrictions we put in place last week to protect our staff, courier services, clients and customers we are now suspending all customer collections until further notice.

We have a reduced team still working at BHT HQ to fulfil orders, with the remainder working from home. We are still able to deliver orders through our courier services and are despatching orders as swiftly as possible. We recommend ordering online, however, it is still possible to place your order over the phone, and we remain available to answer any questions you may have.

In addition to handwashing, sanitisation and social distancing, only staff are allowed in the main office building and our warehouses and the site gates remain closed and locked. Access to site for Goods In/Out has been restricted as detailed below.

Goods In/Out

The Goods In gates are now closed and locked.

  1. Phone office and stay in vehicle
All deliveries/couriers/carriers have been instructed to telephone the office on arrival and stay in their vehicle.
  2. Wait for gate to be opened
A staff member will open the Goods In gate and indicate where to drive to off-load/collect despatches.
  3. Single person load/off load
Loading/offloading of goods in or out will be handled by one person – either the driver or one member of staff. Any driver not loading or unloading will be instructed to stay in their vehicle/cab.

We will continue to post any updates on this special news page as required.

In the meantime, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and well.

From all the team at BHT HQ (and beyond).
