Bare root season concludes

As we say goodbye to the 2019-2020 bare root season, we'd like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our customers and clients for their business.

Whilst the start of the season proved to be quite a challenge, with flooding and the initial knock on effect of limited bare root stock, the team at BHT HQ did an amazing job to maintain our high service levels, ensuring orders were picked, packed and dispatched as quickly as possible.

The result has been a 15% growth in sales of our bare root tree and hedging plants – supporting all manner of planting schemes, from volunteer groups to large forestry contracts and everything in between.

Delivering long term environmental benefits, bare root plants are both eco-friendly and great value for money. We are proud to be able to service such an important sector.

We are preparing for the upcoming 2020/2021 bare root season and whilst conditions are challenging due to COVID-19 we hope to be able to open our pre-ordering service from 1^st July. We recommend reserving your bare root plants as soon as you are able after this date. Dispatching of pre-orders will commence once the season starts, typically in November, running through to mid April, depending on the weather.

In the meantime, we remain open for online and telephone orders for our wide range of tree protection, landscaping and forestry supplies.

COVID-19:
Everyone's safety is our number one priority. Following government guidelines, we have a reduced team still working at BHT HQ to fulfil and dispatch orders, with the remainder working from home and we have temporarily suspended customer collections. We will continue to post updates to our website as the situation evolves, however please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.
