This PVC coated version of our mesh guards offers a longer lasting and more aesthetically-pleasing option to the purely galvanised product. It can also be used to protect small trees against grazing stock or for use in the urban environment.
In addition to the galvanised steel, the PVC coating provides extra resilience to corrosion and rust whilst still offering the strength of a standard mesh guard.
All variants are supplied in green, giving a more visually pleasing finish and ultimately blending in better with the surrounding environment.
Our PVC coated weld mesh guards are open at the sides so can be easily wrapped around an existing tree.
As well as protecting trees, the guards can be used for safeguarding other crops, fencing and even for creating small animal enclosures.
The wire used for the weld mesh guards is 12 gauge.
