Our DIY mesh guards (also known as 'cut pieces') are flat packed sheets of 13mm² mesh which form mesh tubes to protect plants from browsing animals.
Available in green and with various diameters to suit specific applications, the mesh tubes should be formed with square sawn tree stakes and either cable ties or metal staples, all of which should be purchased separately.
The flat pack nature of the guards allow for more economical logistics, along with there being a degree of flexibility to alter the diameter of the formed guard.
We offer the DIY mesh guards in two heights; 60cm and 1.20m. The 60cm option can be purchased to create a guard with a diameter of 95mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm, whilst the taller 1.20m option can be purchased to create a guard with diameters of 100mm and 200mm.
