A very vigorous, upright shrub, which makes an excellent hedge. The oval, glossy dark green leaves turn red in autumn, and the small pink and white flowers are followed by gleaming scarlet berries which remain on the plant long into winter. The cotoneaster’s ability to thrive in even the poorest conditions makes it a valuable plant for both the gardener and the landscaper.
